Recreation and Leisure

Recreation and Leisure activities are necessary for our wellbeing, relieve stress, meet and interact with others, and to provide happiness for living our lives. For many students with disabilities, these activities provide opportunities to learn different skills that can be used in many other settings. Schools can use person-centered planning to determine a student’s interests to help guide participation in recreation and leisure activities.
