North East Supporting Independence for a Young Parent

A student worked on building independence in the community while identifying resources to support both herself and her child. During a community visit to the library, she independently requested information, learned about activities for families, and explored job searching resources. Staff observed growing confidence and regular attendance on CBI days. She shared, “I am not by myself, yes I can do it,” and expressed excitement about using community spaces to support her family.
