Guiding Transitions Through the LifeCourse Framework

In collaboration with Univesity of Missouri Kansas City and the LifeCourse Nexus, P2P is offering a series of trainings related to Charting the LifeCourse™ (CtLC). The CtLC framework and tools equip you with practical frameworks to support students and families in envisioning full lives within their communities. These trainings deliver the core principles and hands-on tools essential for meaningful transition planning.

Core Training Sessions

Develop awareness and understanding of the LifeCourse Framework and key tools and are perfect for new staff or anyone new to the CtLC.

Discover the impact of Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) to explore new perspectives and possibilities for all. This can lead to thinking differently and inspiring people to achieve their good life. Charting the LifeCourse Person-Centered Fundamentals is designed to equip learners with a core knowledge of the CtLC person-centered framework. It will provide an interactive experience of applying the CtLC guiding principles and tools, facilitated by a Certified CtLC Trainer.

Designed to equip learners with a deeper knowledge of the CtLC person-centered framework. It will provide skills to integrate the guiding principles and tools into practice. This series is a collaborative experience to learn, share, and reflect on various applications of CtLC, facilitated by a Certified CtLC Coach. There will be a combination of contact hours and online courses.

  • Intro to CtLC Presenters - Intro to Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) invites learners to explore how the framework is shaping the person-centered movement. It offers a chance to learn, connect, and get involved in a growing LifeCourse community focused on supporting a good life for all. The Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Presenter Badge equips learners to confidently present Intro to CtLC. Participants will strengthen their skills in clearly sharing how CtLC supports people and their families in pursuing their vision of a good life. This badge is taught by a Certified CtLC Mentor.
  • CtLC Meeting Facilitation - Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Meeting Facilitator Badge equips facilitators with the skills to plan and lead meetings from a person-centered approach. Participants will learn three distinct Charting the LifeCourse meeting types: In-Action, Innovation Roundtables, and Network & Community Engagement meetings. This badge is taught by a Certified CtLC Mentor.
  • Good Life Groups - Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC) Good Life Group Facilitator Badge equips learners with the skills to lead Good Life Group peer learning collaboratives. It provides learners with strategies to plan, prepare, and facilitate Good Life Groups. This badge is taught by a Certified CtLC Mentor.
