Offered through the Pathways 2 Partnership, Disability Innovation Fund Grant (DIF), Everyone Can Work is a powerful course that provides a framework for person-centered thinking and implementation around employment. The course begins with an opening webinar that covers an overview of the course and the concepts around person-centered thinking. Participants then complete four modules that explain how everyone can work when person-centered thinking is incorporated into employment services. Each of the four modules have 3-4 eLearning lessons and a quiz. After completing the modules, participants attend a closing webinar to ask questions about the course content and discuss how they can use person-centered thinking in employment.
Course outline (9 hours total): Opening Webinar (1.5 hours) - June 1, 2026 1:30-3:00 p.m. Online Modules Done at Your Own Pace between Opening and Closing Webinars:
Module 1: Focusing on Strengths, Acting with Best Practices (1.5 hours)
Module 2: Understanding the 21st Century Workforce (1.5 hours)
Module 3: Cultivating Additional Paths to Employment (1.5 hours)
Module 4: Building Partnerships to Support Employment Outcomes (1.5 hours)
Closing Webinar and Course Evaluation (1.5 hours), June 25, 2026 1:00-2:30 p.m.
By the end of this training participants will be able to:
Describe the difference between person-centered thinking and person-centered implementation.
Explain the difference between traditional job development and individualized employment development.
Identify examples of an economic development approach to individualized employment development.
Name a strategy to identify the right team members, including those who hold economic roles.
