Join PATF and the PEAL Center for an engaging webinar on the importance of youth-led transition planning. Student participation in the IEP process and the inclusion of financial education goals can help prepare students for greater independence and success after high school. This webinar is part of a free series on teaching people with disabilities about personal finance.
Participants will learn how to incorporate financial education goals into an IEP to better prepare students for life after high school. Speakers will also review a transition planning checklist, highlighting key IEP components to help students successfully move into their next phase, whether that includes post-secondary education, employment, vocational training, or other adult pathways.
This webinar will provide valuable information for transition-aged students with IEPs, their families, members of their support teams, and educators.
