Join us for the first installment of our three-part webinar series designed for job coaches. This series focuses on providing effective support to employees with behavioral needs through empathetic approaches and impactful coaching strategies. In this introductory session, we will explore foundational methods for supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, setting the stage for their success in the workplace. We’ll also discuss simple ways, such as respectful communication and error-free learning, to build appropriate behaviors and create a positive and inclusive work environment.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the underlying causes to mitigate behavioral challenges effectively.
- Develop strategies to view deficits as areas for skill development and foster positive interactions.
- Utilize tools such as ABC Charts to identify triggers and patterns to better address behavioral challenges.
- Create supportive environments by implementing choices and providing control to enhance employee well-being and productivity.
