Thursday October 20, 2022 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Webinar

Participants will also examine methods for increasing effective collaboration between stakeholders, including families and agencies. Additionally, SLPs will identify ways that speech-language data can be presented and utilized to complement the transition planning process. They will also discuss how they advocate for and support students’ rights to communicate, both within the educational environment and within transition planning itself.
Objectives:
Participants will be able to:
- State the 6 possible roles of the SLP on the Transition team
- Identify three methods of collaboration that can be used to facilitate communication between IEP team members
