Sexuality Education for AAC Users: Mini Webinar Series

People with IDD may use a variety of communication methods besides spoken language, also known as augmentative and assistive communication (AAC). Sexuality education is important for all people to have fulfilling sexual and romantic relationships but it may not always be accessible to people who use AAC.

In this two-part online webinar series, special education teachers who work with high school and transition aged youth will learn about how to offer sex ed to AAC users directly from AAC users themselves.

When:

September 29th 9-10:30 a.m. PDT and
September 30th 3-4:30 p.m. PDT

Where:

Auto-captioning will be available during each session. These webinars will be recorded and available to view on the Past Events page after the event concludes.
