What: a series of virtual workshops on college readiness

For Whom: students heading to or in the first year of college with readiness barriers – especially students with Autism, ADHD and/or Anxiety4

REGISTRATION LIMITED TO 10-12

When: Monday nights from 7- 8:30 pm

Dates: March 18- May 20th. No class April 1 (Easter Monday) or April 22 (Passover)

Session 1: Identify – Self and disability – strengths and characteristics

Session 2: Self-determination and Disclosure, managing accommodations

Session 3: Managing the social structure of the college campus, campus- involvement

Session 4: Living with roommates, managing self and others in a new environment

Session 5: Sexuality, Relationships and Safety, Relationships with friends

Session 6: Syllabus, textbooks, and Online management systems (Blackboard, Canvas, etc.)

Session 7: taking notes, using accommodations, Managing time and organizing materials

Session 8: Cont.- session 7 and wrap up
